Jack Kerouac’s classic novel, On The Road, is gearing up for filming by Director Walter Salles for release in 2011. Casting includes recent additions Amy Adams and Viggo Mortensen.
According to reports, Adams and Mortensen join Sam Riley, Garrett Hedlund, Kristen Stewart and Kirsten Dunst. Here’s the cast-to-date, the book’s characters, and their assumed real life counterparts:
Sam Riley as Sal Paradise (Jack Kerouac)
Viggo Mortensen as Old Bull Lee (William S. Burroughs)
Amy Adams as Jane (Joan Vollmer)
