Consider this soap opera:
1. The pre-Oscar party binge in Hollywood has begun.
2. Nicolas Chartier, a Producer of The Hurt Locker has been barred from the Oscars for bad behavior.
If we made a movie about these happenings, Chartier would be Stanley Holloway singing (pleading) Get Me To The Church On Time. It’s not exactly My Fair Lady, but Alan Jay Lerner’s lyrics sum up current events quite well. Too bad for Chartier, he’s about to miss his own wedding.
